- A garden hose is connected to the water source with a simple connector or adapter; the opposite end of the hose needs to be attached to the drip irrigation system with another simple device.
- Watering needs to be done regularly for optimum plant development and health. It is usually placed near the faucet so as not to interfere with the gardening process. If necessary, a timer can be added to the system so that the watering will only last for a particular time.
- A faucet is explicitly used for irrigation systems. The hose is attached to the faucet, which is turned on to water plants or lawns.
